Reverse Engineering

Here we can offer the ability to make new parts reverse engineered from old existing parts where no drawings are available. This is extremely useful in Vintage Car Restoration where drawings have been lost over time and all that remains are the old car parts. We have the capability to Measure, Draw and reproduce to precisely the same as the old part.

Wax Injection Moulds

SDS offer a Toolmaking Department. Here we manufacture Wax Injection Tool Moulds to suit Customer designs in any format from Drawing to Solid Model. We also offer a Tool repair and Modification service.

HIP Product Machining

SDS are specialists in precision machining components from HIP Product Fabrication. This material is formed through Powder Metalurgy and Diffusion Bonding either separately or as part of the same manufacturing process. Powders are HIPed in the solid state to form fully dense material with superior physical properties. SDS will then carry out all the machining required to produce components to Customer specifications resulting in an all round superior component.

Precision Engineering

Here at SDS we offer customers the ability to send solid models of their Product in any file format from all the major CAD systems which allows quick, efficient programming producing precise parts every time. We will also from time to time aid customer ideas which can be turned into 3D models for them to look at or modify before sent into production. 3D Machining and 4th Axis work are just some of the capabilities offered. All machines use offline CAD/CAM programming software. SDS understand the importance of replying to enquiries immediately. Most RFQ’s get a reply within 1-2 Days and for smaller enquiries they are able to respond within the day of receiving them.
